Kerry Wheeler
Kerry is the owner of Wheeler’s Auto & Marine Upholstery, an automotive and marine trimming company located just north of Hamilton in Te Kowhai. Specialising in custom upholstery for a wide range of clients, across a variety of projects. From classic car retrims to full-over boat covers and other custom requests.
Kerry is honest, reliable, and hard-working. His attention to detail ensures that the work he produces is of an extremely high standard. Kerry’s passion for upholstery started when he left school and started his apprenticeship at S T Nolan’s in 1978/79. After completing the apprenticeship, Kerry and a friend went on to start their own motor trimming business, Wheeler & Dodds Motor Trimmers. After 15 years, Kerry sold this business and went on to work for a reputable boat building company for just over 20 years.
Kerry’s decision to begin working independently again was inspired by his change of lifestyle and the satisfaction he gets when seeing projects through from concept to completion.
